Special rates may be excluded from the calculation of penalties and loadings. Once a special rate has been assigned to all or part of a time sheet entry, the Exclude from penalties/loadings may be enabled to ensure the special rate is not included in the calculation of penalties and loadings.
To Do this:
- Edit the time sheet where a special rate has been used, Select the Rates button.
NOTE: If there are already special rates applied to the time sheet in the bottom left of the time sheet will be a note Timesheet has rate changes. - The special rate is shown on the Rates Breakdown.
- From the Pay Options enable the Exclude from penalties/loadings check box to ensure the special rate is not included in the penalty and loading rates.
- Select Save.
