The User Defined security role offers an additional level of customisation.

1. Go to Setup > Security Roles.
   
2. Select the User Defined role from the Security Roles drop down.
   Typically When ClockOn is first installed, this security role only has nothing selected.
3. To customise the User Defined security role, just scroll through the security options and selecting the necessary options as desired.
4. Select Save and Close.
5. Once this has been updated assign the User Defined security role to relevant employees in the employee screen (For more information read Changing Employee Security Roles).
