If you have previously set up employee unavailability for employees, you can use the Show Available Between option to filter the listing of employees available that you can use for a shift within the roster screen.




When this Show Available Between button is enabled, each time a different shift is selected, the filtered start and end times change according to the shift selected.


With this option on, and once a shift is selected to establish the date and time that you wish to view, the listing on the Employees' sidebar will limit to the employees that do not have an Unavailable entry in their profile.

 

Please note that for this to work you will need to select the desired shift as to identify the timeframe that you wish to check the unavailablity for.


Example

  • There is an unassigned checkout shift selected for 06:00-11:00 
  • The Show available between button is selected.  
  • The result shows only those employees who are available between 06:00-11:00 on the day selected are shown in the employee panel list.



TIP: By also using the Filter by Role option you can further limit the listing of employees that would be qualified to preform the shift by only showing the employee for that role who are available, further to this if you are using Qualifications this will finetune this listing further. for more information regarding using roles with qualifications please see the following article Using Roles With Qualifications.
