Question: Can I pay an employee an additional allowance per worked hour?

Answer: Yes you can using a Worked Based allowance.

  1. Open the Allowances screen using the Adding Individual Allowances to Employees guide

  2. Use the Add button and set the allowance Type field to Worked Based this will change the list of available options on the screen

  3. From here you can specify the Days that you would like the allowance to trigger on

    Set the amount that you would like to pay per hour

    Adjust the frequency to Worked Hour.

  4. Lastly set an appropriate Name for the allowance, be advised that the name specified will appear on the employee's payslip.

The following is an example of a work based allowance that will pay an employee an additional $5 for each hour worked on a weekend.
