Question: Why can't I enter amounts when I go to payroll screen

Answer

If you have logged into the payroll screen you might be unable to enter amounts into the payroll screen because the view is set to be Payment Type - Low (see the above screenshot). To fix this you will need to set this view to be Payment Type - Medium and then save the desktop view. 

In this medium view, you will be able to adjust any figure that has the edit icon. (In this example it is the Gross Wage Allowance)
