Question: How do I run an individual command of an export


Answer:

If an exports that have been added via a template or built using the build export you can run the Individual command that are part of the export. 

  1. Navigate to the Home tab and click on Export
  2. Select the export from the list of exports
  3. select the Build Export button
  4. Select the command and then click on the Run Command button.
  5. Any prompts that are part of this command will be displayed for selection. Make the required changes and click on Ok
  6. Once entered, the result of the command will be shown
  7. By selecting the SQL tab from this screen. The SQL that was built using the details specified (tables, fields, filters, etc) for the command can be seen.


Running Commands when Editing

Running commands can also be performed when editing a command. 

  1. Select the command and then Edit command button. When the command has been set up with the necessary relationships,functions,conditions,groups and output, it can be run from this screen.
  2. The Run Command be run at any stage while specifying the details for the command.  
    For example, you may just need to test that the relationships you have defined are as you expect the result to be.  
  3. Run command after you have defined the relationship to check the results.
  4. Any prompts that are part of this command will be displayed for selection. Make the required changes and click on Ok 
  5. The results will be displayed in the result tab
  6. To look at the SQL details and any warnings that might exist you can click on the Details & Warnings tab
  7. To get back to building the export click on the Selection tab
